Birds Canada and other organizations step up to offer free memberships to BIPOC birders

I wrote to Birds Canada with my suggestion that they grant free memberships to Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) as the AOS, American Birding Association, Society of Canadian Ornithologists's and Wilson's Ornithological Society had already done and Birds Canada followed through as well! A big thank you to them!

200 free memberships are being granted by Birds Canada to BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and persons with disabilities. If you qualify you can sign up for a free 1 year membership HERE.

Canadian BIPOC Birders can also sign up for a free 1 year membership with the American Birding Association HERE

Canadian BIPOC Birders can also sign up for a free 2 year membership the Wilson's Ornithological Society HERE

Canadian BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and persons with Disabilities can sign up for a free 1 year membership with the Society of Canadian Ornithologists HERE

So nice to see these organizations stepping up to make a difference for change. Thank you to them all.

Birds Canada members will receive this magazine
